The Dimock Center is introducing a new computer-based program to provide health and wellness education for Roxbury residents. The program will be held on the second Thursday of each month from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in the Goddard Building 3rd Floor Timothy Smith Computer Learning Center. Classes will be led by Deb Reid, Dimock’s clinical pharmacist, and pharmacy students from Northeastern University. Topics will include nutrition, exercise, safe medication use, diabetes, asthma and smoking. The classes will feature traditional classroom instruction supplemented with computer-based activities and on-line programs. The goal of the program is promote health wellness and to prevent disease.
