Sonny Walker Computer Center
Mission Statement
The Sonny Walker Computer/Timothy Smith Network Center is a thriving part of the Boston Public Schools community that provides critical resources to students and families that support academic improvement and excellence. The SWC Center’s mission is to support schools in closing the achievement gap by developing parents’ skills in the areas of technology literacy and English Language Acquisition. The resources provided by the Sonny Walker Computer Center are designed to foster a sense of parental involvement in participants and increase their engagement in schools and with the school district.
